BECKER COUNTY — The Minnesota State Patrol says one person has died following a fatal crash in Becker County.
The crash happened in the eastbound lane of Highway 10 at 290th Avenue in Burlington Township just after 8 a.m. Sunday. A 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by a 47-year-old Wadena woman was eastbound in the left lane of Highway 10 when a 2004 Buick Lesabre driven by an 83-year-old woman from Frazee attempted to cross the eastbound lanes from 290th Avenue. The Buick pulled out in front of the Jeep, causing the Jeep to collide into the driver’s side of the Buick. The Jeep also carried a passenger, a 21-year-old woman from Wadena. The State Patrol has not released information about which woman was killed in the crash, nor have they released information about any possible injuries with the other two people involved.
