The Perham Auditorium was filled to capacity Saturday night (1/20) at a fundraising concert and silent auction. Former Perham Choir Director, Kevin Kosiak, welcomed back Perham grads to perform original songs and covers for the nearly 570 in attendance. In addition to ticket sales, area businesses and individuals donated silent auction items while Disgruntled Brewing sold tap beer products, also, donating 100 percent of the proceeds.
Notables on stage included Singer-Songwriter Patrick Murphy from Nashville, and Chanhassen Dinner Theater Singer-Actor, Sam Stoll. They were joined on-stage by all the musicians to close the 3-hour concert to perform Stevie Ray Vaughn’s – “The House is Rockin’.
The event was held by the City of Perham, and hosted by The Friends of the Perham Auditorium – a recently formed Non-Profit client of West Central Initiative. Organizers stated funds are used for the maintenance and betterment of the Perham Auditorium as an arts and entertainment venue.
