The Breakdown Crossover Classic was held Saturday January 13th at the Hive in Perham. The Hawley Nuggets played the Legacy Christian Academy Lions on KRCQ. Hawley got off to a quick start and lead 6-0 and 10-5, before Legacy Christian went to a run, after the scored was tied at 17, the Lions opened up 43-28 lead at the half. Legacy Christian held a one time lead of 21 at 56-35, Hawley got to within 71-60, with 3 minutes to play , before the Lions hit some late Free throws and finished off at 79-63 victory. Hawley fell to 6-6 and Legacy Christian improved to 11-2. Hawley was led by Senior Brevin Stoa with 22. Senior Landon Bakke hit four 3s and was named the Muscatell Burns Ford MVP of the game.
