Victim identified in fatal Becker County ATV crash on Saturday

Detroit Lakes, Minn. (KDLM) – The victim has been identified from a fatal Saturday afternoon ATV crash in Becker County.

On Sept. 16 at 5:02 p.m., 61-year-old Jon Eric Darling of Fargo was riding his ATV on Rat Lake Trail, east of County Road 35, when the recreational vehicle struck a tree.

First responders attempted life-saving measures at the scene, but Darling was pronounced dead.
