Detroit Lakes, Minn. (KDLM) – The main cabin at Cass Lake Lodge was deemed a “total loss” following a fire on Tuesday night.
On Sept. 12 at 10:20 p.m., Cass County emergency dispatchers received a report of a structure fire at the main cabin, located in Pike Bay Township in rural Cass Lake.
Upon arrival, first responders noted the cabin was fully engulfed in flames and worked to extinguish the blaze.
The Cass Lake Fire Department was assisted by the Bemidji Fire Department in battling the fire.
No injuries were reported at the scene and the cause of the fire remains under an active investigation through the state fire marshal’s office.
