Detroit Lakes, MN (KDLM) – Three steers are being reunited with their owner after they wandered off a Kragnes farm more than a month ago.
Sheriff’s deputies in Felton and Clay Counties had been posting photos of the cattle when they were seen by neighbors, but the owner wasn’t located until recently.
Clay County Sheriff Mark Empting said the initial report about the loose cattle came in about a month ago from a cemetery in the Felton area that said a headstone was knocked over by the herd.
The cattle had wondered more than 10 miles from their owner’s farm, who is currently making arrangements to pick up the loose steers.
