Fergus Falls, Minn. (KBRF) – A 33-year-old Fergus Falls woman was arrested and awaiting multiple felony drug charges following the execution of a search warrant at a Fergus Falls residence on Sept. 5.
According to court records, 33-year-old Dilfa Munguia was the target of a four month investigation by the Fergus Falls Police Department concerning illicit drug sales at a residence on the 700 block of Riverside Court.
Investigators received a tip about illicit drug activities at the residence in April 2023 and opened an investigation into the matter.
They observed a suspiciously high number of vehicles going to and from her address. According to law enforcement, over a two day span, 25 vehicles were seen stopping at the residence.
Law enforcement also received her social media messages as part of the investigation, which included multiple conversations about selling controlled substances or requesting her to do so.
She also invited some of the people in those conversations to come to her home; allegedly hinting that drug transactions were going to take place on the premises.
During a search of Munguia’s residence, officers discovered 23.6 grams of methamphetamine in a plastic bag along with more than $4,000 in cash. They also found Munguia’s personal items in the bedroom where the drugs were found. Suboxone strips, a small scale, miscellaneous drug paraphernalia and a bag full of small plastic baggies were also found at the scene.
