Detroit Lakes, Minn. (KDLM) – A Wadena woman was injured is a vehicle crash involving a horse and buggy on Highway 10 Sunday night.
On Sept. 10 at 10:34 p.m., a 2005 Dodge Caravan, driven by 26-year-old Brittany Marie Buckholder of Wadena, was eastbound on Highway 10 when it collided with a westbound horse and buggy carriage, driven by 18-year-old Daniel Yoder of Verndale, at the Central Street intersection in Aldrich, Minn., about 10 miles west of Staples.
Buckholder suffered non-life-threatening injuries as a result of the crash and was transported to Lakewood Hospital for treatment.
Neither Yoder nor his two 17-year-old female passengers in the horse and buggy reported any injuries at the scene of the crash.
Buckholder was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the crash and law enforcement believes alcohol did not play a role in the incident.
