Detroit Lakes, Minn. (KDLM) – A manhunt is still underway for a shooting suspect involved in a homicide in Pine Point on Sunday.
Law enforcement is searching for 40-year-old Michael Dwayne Croud, of Ogema. A warrant for Croud’s arrest has been issued for second-degree intentional murder for the death of 35-year-old David Wayne Hanks, of Park Rapids, who was found dead of a gunshot wound in a vehicle in Pine Point village.
The Becker County Sheriff’s Office is still searching for a gray Pontiac G6 with White Earth license plate number 22079 in connection with the incident.

In a news release, the sheriff’s office also stated: “Anyone who is discovered to have harbored or aided Croud will be investigated and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.”
