WE Fest’s 40th Birthday Bash scheduled for Aug. 2 with performance by DJ trio Cheat Codes

Detroit Lakes, Minn. (KDLM) – WE Fest announced its 40th Birthday Bash will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 2, this year and feature a performance by the DJ trio Cheat Codes.

In a news release, the festival management team said the birthday party will commemorate the original festival that occurred in 1983.

Attendees will have the opportunity to win prizes during the event and will be automatically be entered into a drawing to win a 3-year lease on a new Ford F-150 pickup.

Tickets for the Birthday Bash will be sold separately from the country music festival, however, WE Fest ticket holders will be able to use a promo code to receive a discount on the birthday party tickets.

WE Fest runs from Aug. 3-5 and this year’s festival features headliners: Morgan Wallen, Brad Paisley and Kane Brown.
