Detroit Lakes, Minn. (KDLM) – A series of townhomes may be coming to Detroit Lakes off Highway 59, near L and M Fleet Supply.
Eagle Rock Real Estate LLC has petitioned the Detroit Lakes planning commission to rezone 47-acres on the east side of Highway 59 from residential-agricultural to multi-family residential.

The developer provided the planning commission with designs for a complex of 12 total townhome buildings, each consisting of nine housing units per building.
The 108 individual townhomes will include 36, 1-bedroom units, each totaling 943 square feet, and 72, 2-bedroom units, each totaling 1,272 square feet.
The Detroit Lakes Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on the potential zoning change on Thursday, May 25 at 5:30 p.m. at M State in Detroit Lakes.
