Detroit Lakes, Minn. (KDLM) – The Willow Bookstore announced their final weekend of sales will be this Friday and Saturday, May 19-20 with the bookstore’s new owner taking over the business on Monday.
In a social media post, owner Megan Wells said her four-year of ownership wouldn’t have been possible without the support and encouragement from the community.
She also said, quote: “I will forever be grateful for all the smiles, comments and conversations at my time owning the bookstore.”
The store’s new owner, Greta Guck, the former executive director of the Detroit Lakes Public Library, will open Guck’s Books at the same location on May 22.
