Detroit Lakes, Minn. (KDLM) – The Minnesota State Fair released their lineup of non-grandstand artists on May 16. Those artists will be performing for free at various stages around the fairgrounds.
On Aug. 24-25 at the Leinie Lodge Bandshell, near the space needle, the Bacon Brothers, featuring famed actor Kevin Bacon and his brother Michael, will be performing songs that blend their folk, rock, soul and country influences.
On Sept. 1-2, American Idol season 13 winner Caleb Johnson will lead a group of musicians for their tribute concert titled: Celebrating Meat Loaf.
Lastly, on Sept. 3-4, one of Minnesota’s most famous 1990s rock bands, Soul Asylum, will be playing over the fair’s closing weekend.
