Detroit Lakes, Minn. (KDLM) – The Detroit Lakes School Board recognized members of the 2023 Lakers girl’s basketball team for being named Mid-state All-conference and academic All-state selections during their meeting on April 24.
The Lakers girl’s basketball team ended up losing to Sauk Rapids-Rice 59-55 in the Section 8AAA semi-final hosted at the Lakeshirts Fieldhouse in Detroit Lakes, but six players received recognition for their contributions on the court and in the classroom.
