MOORHEAD, MN (KDLM) – Jade Presents has announced that they have canceled this summer’s show by Sean Tillmann, AKA Har Mar Superstar after receiving backlash from fans for booking the artist that has a history of accusations of sexual misconduct and harassment.

Jade Presents announced the concert, which was to be held at The Hall at Fargo Brewing Company on June 1st, on Monday and was immediately met with upset and concerned concert-goers.

“Fargo Brewing Company, you’re platforming a known and admitted sexual predator who has refused accountability at every opportunity for the damage he’s done to numerous women in the Twin Cities community,” one person wrote on Facebook. “Perhaps you weren’t aware of this when you booked this event, but you are now, and I urge you to do better.”

“I made a mistake booking the Har Mar show and wholeheartedly accept it,” Jade Presents President Jade Neilsen wrote on Facebook. “I hear you, respect you, and I’m deeply sorry. I don’t want to cause further pain for you or the community we love. I promise to do better as we progress. I’m sorry to my staff, partners, and all customers. I will work to make this right. As of today, this event is canceled. Your voice is always welcome and will be heard.

Three women came forward in 2021, detailing the events of sexual misconduct that took place between 2014-2017. Tillman has since denied the accusations and hasn’t been charged in the cases.

Tillmann, a native of Willmar, has had a difficult time booking shows since the accusations. His first show since the allegations was held at Turtle Lake Casino in Wisconsin earlier this month…a free show that only drew around 100 people.

His name and star at First Ave in Minneapolis has also since been painted over.
