Detroit Lakes, MN (KDLM) – M State in Detroit Lakes will host the Let’s Get To Work Job Fair this Wednesday, March 29th from 2 to 5:30.
50 Lakes Area employers looking for both full-time and summer employees will be on hand for on-site interviews.
“For sure, come dressed to impress the employers,” says Tawney Moe of Rural Minnesota CEP. “Bring your resume. If you don’t have one, you can stop by the career force center Monday thru Friday 9-4:30 and we can help you with your resume and work history.”
With 50 employers on hand for the job fair, it shows that there is a local need for employees at area businesses and those companies need a workforce to support it. Job opportunities on Wednesday begin for potential employees as young as fourteen years old.
“There are many opportunities for different kinds of jobs,” “You can start building that work history. There will be a good variety of types of jobs… full-time, part-time, summer only.”
The Job Fair is presented in part by Minnesota Rural CEP, the Detroit Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce, and Leighton Broadcasting.
