Girls State Basketball Tournament Brackets Released; Perham Draws Albany

(KDLM/KPRW) – The 2022-23 Girls State Basketball tournament begins on Wednesday.

The Perham Yellowjackets, making their first state tournament appearance since 1991, enter the tournament as a bottom-three seed and drew the three seed, 5A champion Albany, in the first round of the tournament via a random draw.

Perham enters the tournament with a 26-3 record overall. Albany is 28-1, with their one loss coming to 3AA champ New London-Spicer in mid-December.

Perham vs Albany will play at the Maturi Pavillion at 8:00 pm on Wednesday. You can listen to the game on The Lakes 99.5.
