Detroit Lakes, MN (KDLM) – From 1975-2016, Andy Lia was the “Voice of the Lakers” on KDLM, and became one of the most recognizable and beloved voices of Detroit Lakes.
Lia, a 2009 inductee into the Minnesota Broadcasters Hall of Fame, hung up his headphones in 2016 after a 56-year radio career.
Tonight, Lia makes his return for a full Laker broadcast for the first time in seven years as he joins Charlie Newland on the Laker Boys Basketball broadcast vs Staples-Motley.
