PHOENIX, AZ (KDLM) – Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen is one of the latest additions to a star-studded list of entertainers and celebrities to compete at the Annexus Pro-Am at the Waste Management Phoenix Open on Wednesday, February 8th.
The Annexus Pro-Am is a best-ball scramble that features a team of four celebrities and one golf pro leading up to the rowdy Waste Management Phoenix Open.
This is Thielen’s second time playing in the Annexus Pro-Am. Last year, Thielen’s team (actor Ray Brooks, tournament VP Rafa Carrasco, former MLB pitcher Mark Williamson and pro golfer Brooks Koepka finished in 25th place out of 27 teams with an -8.
Thielen finished fourth at the American Century Celebrity Golf Championship in Lake Tahoe last July.
The tournament begins at 9:30 CT on Wednesday morning. Thielen’s group will tee off on the front nine at 10:10 CT.
Other participants in this year’s scramble include Ryan Fitzpatrick, Carli Lloyd, Reggie Bush, Chris Lane, Jason Aldean, Alex RodrÃguez, JJ Watt, Larry Fitzgerald, Michael Phelps, Emmitt Smith, and Albert Pujols.
