
SEBEKA, Minn. (KFGO/KDLM) – A 50-year-old Menahga man suffered serious injuries in a snowmobile crash in central Minnesota Friday afternoon.
According to the Wadena County Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened around 2:45 p.m. in rural Wadena County. Emergency crews found the man laying next to his snowmobile.
The man, who was wearing a helmet, told the emergency responders he went around a corner and hit a tree.
The Sheriff’s Office said the man was airlifted to Sanford in Fargo with serious injuries including a broken leg and wrist.
Speed appears to be a factor in the crash.
