Detroit Lakes, MN (KDLM) – The first Minnesota Girls Gymnastics Coaches Association (MGGCA) Poll has been released and the Detroit Lakes Lakers are ranked #1 in Class A.
The defending Section 8A Lakers top the ranking with an average score of 139.225, followed closely by Worthington (3A) and section opponent Melrose.
Perham is ranked #10 in the poll, and Fergus Falls is #13.
The Lakers have won every meet they’ve participated in this season except one…last weekend’s invite in Brainerd where they placed third, losing only to Lakeville South (the #1 team in Class AA) and Big Lake.
The Lakers’ next meet will be in Moorhead on Tuesday, January 3rd. Moorhead is ranked #22 in Class AA.
