MINNEAPOLIS, MN (KDLM) – Thanksgiving Thursday’s triple-header nightcap between the Vikings and the New England Patriots was another fun game for Vikings fans. Justin Jefferson broke Randy Moss’ record for most receiving yards in a player’s first three NFL seasons (with six games left…), Kirk Cousins diced up a Pats defense that only averaged 202 passing yards per game (Kirk had 299), and Adam Thielen had his best game of the season: 9 catches for 61-yards and the game-winning touchdown to give the Vikes a 33-26 win and improve to 9-2 on the season.
But the game’s most viral moment came afterward, with Cousins, Jefferson, and Thielen enjoying the traditional postgame turkey legs during NBC’s postgame interview.
Maybe “enjoying” is too strong a word. Cousins politely seemed to like the leg. Jefferson didn’t eat it because he was wearing his diamond grills. Thielen walked away and spit it out.
“It’s a little dry,” he said, then walking away and spitting it out. Thielen walked out of the shot to spit the leg out, but the camera panned out, followed him, and caught the whole thing on live TV.

A close second on most-viral Adam Thielen moment of the night was the icy postgame exchange with Patriots head coach Bill Belichick. When these two teams last played four years ago, Belichick and Thielen got into a shouting match on the field, and it appears the two haven’t made up since then:
Four years later…Think Adam Thielen & Bill Belichick are cool?!
