(KDLM) – The 2022 State High School Cross Country meet is on Saturday, November 5th at St. Olaf College in Northfield. Eight area teams are sending full teams down to compete in their respective class races, including both Perham boys and girls teams (A), the Hawley girls (A), both Staples-Motley boys and girls teams (A), the Wadena-Deer Creek girls (A), the Park Rapids boys (A), the Bertha-Hewitt boys (A), both Alexandria boys and girls teams (AA), and the Fergus Falls boys (AA).
A number of runners will also be running individually, including Kendra Miller of Bertha-Hewitt, Katie Holzner of Hillcrest Lutheran, Kaia Fiskness and Zackery Bruder of Osakis, Norah Froslee of Ottertail Central, Bjorn Brunsberg of WDC, James Suchy of Parkers Prairie, Jade Rypkema and Adeline Bjorklund of Nevis, Anjalie Aho of UNC, Morgan Koppelman of Park Rapids, Charlie Larson of Pelican Rapids, Owen Winter of DGF, Ben Geeslin of Hawley and Ellen Schauer, Taylor Johnson, Thor Erickson and Seth Torgerson of Lake Park-Audubon.
The Class A girls meet is at noon on Saturday with the boys race following at 1: The AA Girls race begins at 2:30, with the boys race immediately after at 3:30.
