PERHAM, MN (KPRW) – Three seniors at Perham High School recently announced their college commitments.
Mya Morris announced that she will play college basketball at Valley City State University in Valley City, North Dakota, Lauryn Rustad plans to run track at the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire, and Natalie Rooney will continue her pole vault career at Minnesota State University – Mankato.
In her senior season, Morris will help anchor a Yellowjacket team that was 21-8 last season and finished the season one game away from the section finals.
Rustad finished eighth at state in the 100m hurdles last spring and is the PHS school record holder in the event. Rooney finished tied for seventh in the Class A Pole Vault competition.
