(KNSI) — Authorities say a ten-year-old boy from rural Walker has died after falling out of a tree.
A press release says a 911 call came in Thursday afternoon for a medical situation at the family home in rural Walker. First responders provided medical treatment at the scene before the child was airlifted to the hospital, where he died.
Leech Lake Tribal Police, North Memorial Ambulance and Sanford Air Med assisted on the call. The investigation is ongoing.
