MAHNOMEN (KDLM) – After a delay, the Twin Lakes Creek bridge should be open by the end of the month.
Crews have been working on Highway 200 with approximately five miles of shoulder widening remaining on the project. The Twin Lakes Creek bridge was delayed due to material delays. Crews have poured the approach panels, and have installed geofoam (which is a lightweight fill to raise the grade leading up to the bridge) on the east end, and are working on the west end. Railing installation is set for October 21, weather permitting, and then they’ll be paving the week of October 26.
If you have a destination on Highway 200, remember that the road is impassable at Twin Lakes Creek and you will need to follow the detour or find an alternate route around the bridge site.
All thru-traffic should continue to follow the detour: Highway 59, Highway 113 and CR 39.
In addition, there is upcoming work at Beatty Creek and Roy Lake that will impact local traffic. Once the schedule for that work is known, we will share more information.
