Detroit Lakes Movie Theater to Offer $3 Movie Tickets, Saturday

DETROIT LAKES (KDLM) – CineMagic Washington Square 7 Theatre in Detroit Lakes will join the National Cinema Day Celebration on Saturday and offer moviegoers tickets for just $3.

National Cinema Day celebrates a summer of record-breaking moviegoing with movies and a special sneak peek of upcoming titles from A24, Amazon Studios, Disney, Focus Features, Lionsgate, Neon, Paramount, Sony Pictures Classics, Sony, United Artists Releasing, Universal, and Warner Bros., only on September 3.

Movie theaters across the country will sell tickets to all movies, all formats, and all showtimes for just $3 all day, Friday, September 3.

Labor Day weekend is traditionally one of the slowest weekends in theaters. The hope is that National Cinema Day will prompt moviegoers to visit their local theaters over the holiday weekend and then return in the fall.

Before each showing, ticket buyers will be shown a sizzle reel of upcoming films.
