MAHNOMEN (KDLM) – MnDOT crews continue to work on Highway 200 between Mahnomen and Roy Lake.
Crews are finishing up shoulder widening east of the Twin Lakes Bridge. They are expecting to wrap up in that area this week. They also started on the first mile of shoulder widening west of the bridge and continue heading west.
Crews have poured the new bridge deck at Twin Lakes Creek. Because of delivery delays, MnDOT is anticipating the bridge to reopen by the end of October.
During the first week of September, the roadway will be reduced to one lane near Beatty Creek and Roy Lake for residents/local traffic, while crews replace the Beatty Creek culvert and complete some additional pavement work near Roy Lake.
All thru-traffic should continue to follow the detour: Highway 59, Highway 113 and CR 39.
