Christianson, Gatheridge and Braaten to Play 100 Holes Of Golf For Growth of the Game Foundation

Detroit Lakes, MN (KDLM) – On Tuesday, August 23rd, three Detroit Lakes youth golfers will be playing 100 holes of golf to raise money for the Growth of the Game Foundation, which supports junior golf in Detroit Lakes.

Parker Christianson, Breck Gatheridge, and Sully Braaten will tee off on their attempt to play 100 holes of golf at Lakeview Golf Course at 7:00.

In addition to playing 100 holes, the boys, all between the ages of nine and twelve, will be walking and carrying/pushing their clubs.

A number of area businesses have pledged money to the boys for every hole played, including 180 Balance, American Family Insurance, Bender Chiropractic, Bleachers, DOW Acoustics, Edward Jones, Gatheridge Electric, Liberty Health, Marybeth Okeson, Nate Pierson, Sanford Health, Taco Johns, and TS Dock & Lift.

The Growth of the Game Foundation is a non-profit organization created for underprivileged youth; to improve player development and provide accessibility to the game.
