DETROIT LAKES (KDLM) – Dan Bohmer will represent the GOP in November’s General Election after winning the state’s primary race for Minnesota’s Senate District 4.
Bohmer secured more than 70% of the votes, Tuesday defeating Edwin Hahn. Bohmer will now take on DFL candidate Rob Kupec, who ran unopposed on Tuesday’s primary.
Minnesota’s Senate District 4 includes portions of Becker, Clay, and Norman counties; the seat became open after Senator Kent Eken announced he would not be seeking reelection.
