Oliva, Kaat HOF Plaques Will Be At Saturday’s Twins Game

(KDLM) – Two weeks after Tony Oliva and Jim Kaat’s long-overdue Hall of Fame plaques were hung in The Gallery in Cooperstown, NY they are coming down to make the trip to Target Field for Twins fans to enjoy.

Oliva and Kaat’s hall of fame plaques will be on display during the Twins vs Toronto Blue Jays game for the Twins’ National Baseball Hall of Fame night at Target Field.

Oliva and Kaat will be on hand for a special pre-game ceremony with fellow Hall of Famers Rod Carew and Bert Blyleven

The plaques will be on display for fans to see at the Truly on Deck in the second level of the stadium following the on-field ceremony.

The first 10,000 fans through the gates will get a free Tony Oliva bobblehead. Oliva and Kaat will be taking photos with fans from 4:45-5:15 at Gate 29.
