Detroit Lakes Football Schedule Released, Season Opener On September 2nd

Detroit Lakes, MN (KDLM) – After a 6-4 season last year ended in the section championship game, the Detroit Lakes Lakers football is ready to kick off their 2022 season.

The Lakers will open the regular season at home against Fergus Falls, who beat them in the opener last year 29-15, on September 2nd. The Lakers’ homecoming opponent will be the Barnesville Trojans on October 7th. Barnesville beat Detroit Lakes 49-14 on their homecoming night last year.

September 2nd – vs Fergus Falls

September 9th – @ East Grand Forks

September 16th – @ Thief River Falls

September 23rd – vs Perham (Battle For The Paddle)

September 30th – @ Pequot Lakes

October 7th – vs Barneville (Homecoming)

October 14th – Park Rapids (Parents Night)

October 19th – @ Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton
