Bash on the Beach and Parade to close out 86th Northwest Water Carnival this Weekend

DETROIT LAKES (KDLM) – The 86th Annual Northwest Water Carnival in Detroit Lakes wraps up this weekend with a flurry of events and activities.

The final weekend is generally the largest weekend with two days of Bash on the Beach concerts. Friday, Hairball with special guest Fabulous Armadillos will perform and Saturday, Eddie Montgomery of Montgomery Gentry with special guest, Troubadour will perform along the Detroit Lakes City Beach.

Tickets for Friday and Saturday’s concerts are $30 and available at DLJaycees.com; if you purchase both nights the price is $55

The Water Carnival, one of the longest running festivals in the state of Minnesota wraps up on Sunday with the Parade of the Northwest at 1 p.m. one of the biggest parades in the Lakes Area.

The Detroit Lakes Jaycees, an all-volunteer civic organization host the Water Carnival each year featuring more than 60 events over ten days.
