UNDERWOOD (KDLM) – An Underwood man has been arrested on multiple felony and misdemeanor warrants including False Imprisonment.

David Englin-Hill was taken into custody on Wednesday, June 29 on felony warrants for 2nd Degree Assault with a dangerous weapon, False Imprisonment, and misdemeanor warrants for Domestic Assault and Violation of Domestic Abuse No Contact Order.

In April, Englin-Hill was involved in a domestic incident that resulted in a stand-off with members of the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office where deputies shot Englin-Hill with a less-than-lethal beanbag round, and after being momentarily staggered, he attacked Otter Tail County Sheriff Barry Fitzgibbons with a sword.

Englin-Hill is being held at the Otter Tail County Detention Facility.
