DETROIT LAKES (KDLM) – A former Detroit Lakes martial arts instructor has been sentenced to prison for sexually assaulting two girls.
Patrick Fineday will serve 12 years in prison in St. Cloud, he faced up to 30 years.
During an interview with the girl, she said she didn’t tell anyone because she didn’t think anyone would believe her. On March 11, 2022 the Detroit Lakes Police Department interviewed Fineday and he admitted to sexually assaulting the girl in the last two years. Additionally, he admitted to sexually assaulting another girl, related to him.
Fineday formerly ran Pat’s Martial Arts Tae Kwon Do School in Detroit Lakes.
