Mark J. Lindquist Plans Charity Concerts in Ukraine and Fargo

UKRAINE (KDLM) – An area Air Force veteran, and former candidate for Minnesota’s 7th district will host a charity concert to benefit Ukraine war relief efforts in both Ukraine and Fargo.

Mark J. Lindquist suspended his political career in March to travel to Europe and provide humanitarian aid to Ukraine. After being overseas for nearly 90 days, he’s working on shipping up to 200 tons of donated medical supplies from Minneapolis to Ukraine.

His benefit concerts will help offset the shipping costs, “All we need to do is sponsor those shipping containers with your generosity,” Lindquist said. “We have a charity benefit concert scheduled for Kharkiv, Ukraine…we’re going to give the people who have been living in this war zone a brief respite.”

Lindquist will also host a charity benefit concert on Friday, July 8 in Fargo. He says the venue has not yet been set for that event.
