3rd Annual Carson Wentz Foundation Charity Softball Game Is Tuesday At Newman Outdoor Field

FARGO, ND (KDLM) – The 3rd Annual Carson Wentz A01 Foundation Charity Softball Game, presented by Scheels, will be held at Newman Outdoor Field in Fargo on Tuesday night. 

The event will feature Carson Wentz, quarterback for the Washington Commanders, and former North Dakota State University football players competing in a home run derby and nine-inning game.

Stadium gates will open at 6 p.m, the home run derby will begin at 7 p.m. with the game to follow at 8 p.m., and the evening will conclude with postgame fireworks. The event will also feature a silent auction with a variety of autographed items and fan experiences. In addition, merchandise from the AO1 Foundation will be for sale.

Former Bison players in attendance include Wentz, Ryan Smith, Trey Lance, Cole Davis, Zeb Noland, Easton Stick, Brock Jensen, Ty Brooks, Jed Cyr, Tyler Roehl, Bryce Messner, Cordell Volson, Ben Ellefson, Nate Jenson, Jeff Illies, Robbie Grimsley, James Hendricks, Esley Thorton, Ben LeCompte, Eric Bachmeier, Grant Olson, Pierre Gee-Tucker, Kyle Emanuel, Brian Schaetz, Mike Dragosavich, Jarrod Tuszka, Cole Jirik and Stan Jones.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the AO1 Foundation’s mission of “Uplifting individuals and communities worldwide by demonstrating God’s love for His people” through their three ministries: Thy Kingdom Crumb, the Outdoor Ministry, and the Haiti Sports Complex.
