PERHAM (KDLM) – The city of Perham kicks off their annual Turtle Fest, Wednesday.
The citywide festival has been a summer staple for Perham residents and vacationers for more than 40 years. From turtle races to the parade and even fireworks – it’s a busy week in Perham says Nick Murdock, Director of the Perham Area Chamber of Commerce, “Starting Wednesday with Turtle Races and then from there it gets busier and busier….it’s all Turtle Fest all the time right now.”
Turtle Fest runs Wednesday through Sunday in Perham, a full schedule of events is below.
Wednesday, June 15
$10K Raffle for the Perham Center for the Arts August 18th Drawing – Tickets can be purchased at the Chamber Office.
Coloring Contest sponsored by the Sweet Bees Stop by between 10-4pm to pick up and drop off your coloring sheet.
RDO Farmers Market from 8am -1pm at NP Park – W. Main Street.
10:00am register, 10:30am races start Lakes 99.5 Turtle Races at Turtle Park – E. Main Street.
10am – 12pm Bremer Bank Trolley Rides to and from the Chamber & Ma’s Little Red Barn.
11:30am – 1:00pm KLN Relay 4 Life Cookout at the Tuffy’s Parking Lot South of the Library.
Starting at Noon – until found $500 Medallion Hunt Sponsored by Magnifi Financial and McDonalds with Clues posted @ Noon each day at the Chamber Office, on Perham.com & announced on Lakes 99.5.
