OTTER TAIL COUNTY, Minn. (KFGO) – The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office says effective Thursday, May 26, a no-wake zone advisory takes effect on a small number of lakes as a result of the high water levels resulting from recent rain.
The no-wake water zones cover Pelican, Fish, Bass, and Little Pelican lakes. Watercraft operating within 300 feet of the shoreline is not to create waves in order to protect the shoreline.
The advisory will expire on June 25.
