8AAA Section Softball Bracket Released; Lakers Play at Alexandria On Tuesday

Detroit Lakes, MN (KDLM) – The bracket for the 8AAA Softball Tournament has been released. Detroit Lakes (5-13, 0-4 section) was given the #6 seed and will play at #3 Alexandria (6-14, 5-4 section) at 4:30 in the first game of the double-elimination tournament.

The Cardinals swept a double-header against Detroit Lakes on May 13th in Alexandria 9-3 and 8-5.

Rocori (11-8, 7-0 section) was awarded the top seed in the tournament and will await the winner of #4 Willmar (3-13, 2-3 section) and #5 Sauk Rapids-Rice (2-17, 1-6 section). The winner of Detroit Lakes and Alexandria play at #2 Little Falls (9-10, 3-1 section) on Thursday at 4:00.

The elimination bracket games will be played in Rocori or Little Falls at 6:00 on Thursday.
