Summit League Softball Tournament Postponed After Storms In Brookings

BROOKINGS, SD (KDLM) – The Summit League has announced that their conference softball tournament has been postponed after storms ripped through Brookings, SD last night, causing extensive damage and power outages across the area.

Power is still out all over the city, and classes on South Dakota State University’s campus has been closed to everyone except essential employees.

No make-up times for the tournament have been announced.

League officials and members of the games committee will continue to evaluate the situation and make a decision on how the remainder of the tournament schedule will play out once everything is properly assessed.
