(KDLM) – After much anticipation, the 2022 Vikings schedule has been released.

The NFL unveiled four Prime Time games for the Vikings earlier this week: Week Two at Philadelphia on Monday Night Football, a Week 4 London game against New Orleans,  the team’s first-ever home Thanksgiving Day game against the Patriots, and a Christmas Eve Saturday tilt against the New York Giants.

Tonight, the NFL unveiled the other 14 matchups for the upcoming season, which begins at home against Green Bay on September 11th:

  • Week 1: Green Bay Packers (9/11)
  • Week 2: at Philadelphia Eagles (MNF) (9/19)
  • Week 3: Detroit Lions (9/25)
  • Week 4: at New Orleans Saints (London) (10/2)
  • Week 5: Chicago Bears (10/9)
  • Week 6: at Miami Dolphins (10/16)
  • Week 7: BYE
  • Week 8: Arizona Cardinals (10/30)
  • Week 9: at Washington Commanders (11/6)
  • Week 10: at Buffalo Bills (11/13)
  • Week 11: Dallas Cowboys (11/20)
  • Week 12: New England Patriots (Thanksgiving) (11/24)
  • Week 13: New York Jets (12/4)
  • Week 14: at Detroit Lions (12/11)

  • Week 16: New York Giants (Christmas Eve)
  • Week 17: at Green Bay Packers (New Year’s Day)
  • Week 18: at Chicago Bears (1/8/23)

The Vikings’ 2022 opponents went a combined 139-148-2, a .484 winning percentage, which would give them the 13th-easiest schedule in the NFL. Six of the teams the Vikings will face in 2022 reached the playoffs in 2021. However, only one of those teams won a playoff game: Stefon Diggs’ Buffalo Bills.
