DETROIT LAKES (KDLM) – Wild Rice Electric members will likely experience a power outage on Friday.
The planned outage will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, May 13 and will last approximately 2 hours. Crew from Wild Rice Electric and Minnkota Power will be working the with the Minnesota DNR to remove an osprey nest that has been rebuilt atop a transmission structure. Barricades are also being put in place to prevent the osprey from building.
The power outage is likely to affect those near Lake Park, Audubon and surrounding areas.
