DETROIT LAKES (KDLM) – The man accused of driving his vehicle into the Lakes Inn in Detroit Lakes and seriously injuring two people has posted bail.
Wade Olds of Detroit Lakes posted a $15,000 cash bail with conditions of release, Monday. Those conditions include using an alcohol monitor and having no contact with the two people that were injured in the crash.
Olds charged with two felonies after allegedly driving his vehicle into the motel and trapping Frank and Jacklyn Benninger in their bed, Saturday, May 7, both received serious injuries and were taken to a hospital in Fargo.
Olds was arrested a short time later after leaving the scene. His next court appearance is set for May 16.
