Laker Boys Golf battles the elements for third place finish in Bemidji

BEMIDJI, MN (KDLM) – After a weather delay that featured heavy downpours, high winds, and hail, the Laker boys golf team got their rounds in at Bemidji Town and Country Club on Monday and finished in third place with a 332.

Ben Hines and Nick Tobkin each shot 82s to lead the Lakers, which tied them for eighth place overall. Jack Syltie and Carter Whitworth each shot 84 to tie for 14th.

Tyler Seeling of Pequot Lakes shot a -1 on the Par 72 course to earn medalist honors. Jack Justesen of Hawley was runner-up with a +4 for the day.

Laker boys golf returns to action this Friday when they host an invite at the Detroit Country Club at 1:00.
