DETROIT LAKES (KDLM) – The Detroit Lakes Regional Chamber of Commerce is helping residents, especially new ones get connected to the community.
After a successful first ‘Welcome to Detroit Lakes’ event in April, the Chamber plans to hold an additional event on Tuesday, May 3 at the Detroit Lakes Chamber to help residents learn about events, resources and community information.
“We hope to really be a welcoming community whether you’ve been here for 3 days or 3 years or 30 years and you just want to make those connections,” said Carrie Johnston with the Detroit Lakes Regional Chamber of Commerce. ”
The event begins at 4 p.m. at the Detroit Lakes Chamber of Commerce located at 700 Summit Ave., admission is free.
