
(KNSI) — Check your tickets. Someone in Minnesota is waking up as a multi-millionaire.
A single winning Mega Millions lottery ticket matched all six numbers and the gold mega ball to win $106 million. The cash option is worth $64.5 million.
This jackpot is the first for Minnesota Mega Millions players since the game became available in the state in 2010.
Four tickets sold in other states matched the five white balls to win $1 million. Fourteen third prize tickets for $20,000 were also sold around the country.
The winning numbers were 2, 8, 14, 20, 31, with the gold Mega Ball 17.
