
PERHAM (KDLM) – The Bongards retail store in Perham has been demolished.
Crews begin taking down the store, Monday to prepare for the construction of a new multi-use building with retail stores at ground level, apartments above and residential parking underneath.
The new development will be known as J.P. Place; Bongards plans to relocate their retail store in the new development once construction is complete. Currently, Bongards retail store is operating out of a temporary location at 145 Second Avenue S.E. in Perham, the former Winkels Carpet Center.
