UPDATE 9:55 pm: In another Facebook post, Hooligans Lakeside says they consulted with a local sign company and determined wind from this winter slowly worked the bolts off.
ORIGINAL STORY:
LAKE PARK, MN (KDLM) – Hooligans Lakeside on Highway 6 in Lake Park was the recent target of vandalism, where somebody removed the base nuts of the Hooligans sign near the parking lot which caused the sign to fall over.
“Thank God nobody it didn’t fall over and hurt someone,” the restaurant said in a Facebook post.
Hooligans also said that somebody had been leaving the toilet flaps up in the restrooms, causing the holding tanks to fill up.
If anybody has any information regarding the incidents, they’re asked to contact the Becker County Sheriff’s Office at (218) 847-2661.
