WADENA (KDLM) – Two Wadena County squad cars were damaged in a vehicle pursuit, Thursday.
The Wadena County Sheriff’s Office says multiple agencies were dispatched to pursue a stolen vehicle from Hubbard County that had been located in Otter Tail County. The pursuit entered into Wadena County where the suspect vehicle went into the ditch at the intersection of 210th Street and 11th Ave. near Blue Grass. Both male occupants, identified as Tommy Basswood, 20, and Brett Stevens, 27, both from Ponsford took off on foot, but were apprehended a short distance later.
Two Wadena County squad cars were damaged as a result of the pursuit and the ice packed road conditions. No injuries were reported from the incident.
